Can you make a Marimekko chart in Google Slides?

How to make a Marimekko chart in Google Slides.

A Marimekko (or Mekko) chart is a variable-width stacked column chart: column width encodes one dimension (segment size) and the stacked height a second (share), so a whole market map fits on one slide. It's a consulting staple, and Google Slides can't draw one at all.
